Effective 8 September 20261. Accepting these terms
These terms govern your use of the Setz app and stezapp.com. By downloading, accessing, or using Setz, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Setz. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
2. What Setz provides
Setz is a personal workout-logging utility. It helps you record training, review previous sessions, plan workouts, and view training-volume guides and progress estimates. Features may change as we improve the app.
3. Health and safety
Setz does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, injury prevention, or personalised professional coaching. It does not promise particular results. Training involves risk. Use appropriate equipment and technique, choose exercises and loads suitable for you, follow facility rules, and consult a qualified medical or fitness professional when needed. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you feel pain, dizziness, or become unwell.
4. Your licence and responsibilities
Frekvens grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Setz on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and App Store rules. You must not reverse engineer, resell, misuse, disrupt, or use Setz unlawfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for maintaining access to your device and backups.
5. Local data
Setz is local-first. You are responsible for your device, its backups, and any loss caused by deletion, damage, replacement, or unavailable backups. We cannot restore workout information that was stored only on your device.
6. Paid features
The current Setz beta is free and does not offer purchases. If paid features are introduced, purchases will be processed through Apple. The price and billing period shown by Apple at confirmation will control, and any subscription may renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You will be able to manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings, and Setz will provide a restore control while paid features are available. Trials, refunds, and payment disputes will be governed by Apple’s terms and applicable consumer law. Contact billing@stezapp.com for help.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Setz reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for security, legal, technical, or product reasons. We will give reasonable notice when practical.
8. Intellectual property
Setz, its software, design, copy, branding, and original content belong to Frekvens or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names and services remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Setz is provided “as is” and “as available”. Frekvens is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost training records, lost profits, or decisions made from estimates shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Courts in Norway have jurisdiction where legally permitted. Consumers in the EEA may also use available public consumer-dispute services.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will publish the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to legal@stezapp.com. Support requests belong at support@stezapp.com.
